LONDON PROJECT

This extensive remodel involved taking out each floor, an extension to the rear ground floor and a full basement dig-out, to exacting standards.

Having a client who was fully engaged in every aspect of the project developed a clean modern design with an eclectic mix of materials and finishes that gave this project a really unique feel.

This project was the first to use Flos Moonline lighting in the UK, which was sourced from the Milan Furniture Fair one year previously. Combined with Flos Architectural lighting elements, walk-on glazing and a lightwell that opens to the elements: every aspect of the basement design was considered to allow light to pervade the space. Being able to design-in glazing to enhance the lightness of the room was key.

In the Master En Suite, where the space between floors would have been under-utilised, a Rexa bath was inserted with lay-in slats to create a walk-in shower with a sunken bath below. Accessing the shower from the Master Bedroom is through the wardrobes, leaving the wardrobe run unhindered.
